ARE YOU 100% SURE HEAVEN IS YOUR HOME?
erered.jpg

There is no greater question for a soul than the question of eternal life! We’re all one breath away from eternity and are not guaranteed tomorrow. Do you know where you’d go when you die? Most people reply by saying, “I think I’m a good person, so maybe heaven”.

You may think you’re a good person, but the Bible says in Ecclesiastes 7:20 “For there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not.” Romans 3:23 tells us, “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God”. The fact of the matter is we are corrupted and sinful beings who are under the wrath of Almighty God.

We’re all sinners and we have a debt of sin that must be paid, and the price is eternal death in Hell. Romans 6:23 says, “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Notice the Bible doesn’t say the wages of sin is living a good life, going to church, giving money away, or even getting baptized. No, friend, we’ve offended a holy God by our sins and our debt must be paid.

So, how can we settle this debt we owe and be reconciled back to God? How can we be sure that Heaven is our future home? The good news of the Gospel is God so loved you that He sent Christ to die in our place, to pay the debt we owe. John 3:16-18 says, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”

Even though we are sinners and deserve Hell, Christ died and was buried so that we could be reconciled to God, and rose again that we could have eternal life. Romans 5:10 tells us, “For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.” That’s the good news from Heaven, Jesus died and rose again to save bankrupt and unworthy sinners!

Now you may ask, how do I receive this great gift? How do I get eternal life and settle my debt of sin with God? Romans 10:9-11 tells us, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.”

Let me ask you, do you agree with God that you are a sinner? Do you agree that you deserve Hell because of how you offended Him? Do you believe that Jesus died for you, was buried and rose the third day? Are you willing to turn from your sin and unbelief and place your faith in Christ alone to save you? I mean, truly in your heart, and not just a mental acknowledgment that He’s the Savior. Are you willing to believe on Him as YOUR Savior?

Let me invite you, if God is dealing with you and drawing you to Himself. Call out to Him in heartfelt faith to save you. Turn from your sins, by faith call on the crucified and risen Lord to save you! Believe on Him alone!

The Bible gives us a wonderful promise in Romans 10:13 “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” You are a "whosoever", come to Him right now!
